The sign-board of this hostellerie was made in gilded wrought iron representating a golden tree and was showing, because of its seniority, a beautiful art production made by the master-locksmith on the 17th Century. The present building was constructed at the 19th century on the side of the ancient post house. It stands on the edge of the oldest part of Beaune, within easy walking distance of the town's historic buildings ( the famous Hospices are only 100 metres away) and its many high-quality shops. |
