The Hotel and Restaurant "il Gourmet" can be found at the back of the ancient Venetian walls of S. Vigilio, a few hundred metres from the Historical Centre of the Old City (Città Alta). The building dates back to the Eighteenth Century when it was a patriarchal mansion; then at the beginning of the Twentieth Century it underwent its first transformation into a Coach Inn for couriers and merchants travelling through Bergamo with their wares. |

The present structure has evolved from a re-structuring which took place at the beginning of the 1980s. Completely surrounded by the green hills of High Bergamo, its enchanting position makes your stay one of peace and relaxation.
