La grande pineta è stata impiantata negli anni 50 per arrestare l'avanzaredelle dune. È nata una vera e propria oasi, ricca di eucalipti, ginepri, mirti e aromatica santoreggia. In primavera fioriscono le mimose, mentre nella foresta risuona il canto della ghiandaia e di altri uccelli. Poiché non sono concesse edificazioni più alte degli alberi, l'hotel si fonde e nasconde perfettamente nel paesaggio circostante. Le aree verdi e i viali sono curati dai giardinieri e utilizzati per passeggiate ed escursioni: i percorsi all'interno della pineta si estendono infatti per 44km. Le auto non vanno oltre il parcheggio. In bicicletta, con il golf cart o a piedi le bellezze di Is Arenas possono essere ammirate meglio. Anche il beach-club rispetta con la sua architettura le dune circostanti, fondendosi perfettamente con il paesaggio naturale. La cornice perfetta per la convivialità con gli altri ospiti. |
