Located in Tramontana Place , Casa Terranova offer one of must enchanting Mediterranean escapade. Ustica, belonging to the Palermo province, has such attractive and renowned natural bays as the Cala Santa Maria, the Bastione Monte Guardia dei Turchi, the Cala del Camposanto, the Punta dell'Omo morto. As much impressive spots are provided by the natural caves of the Grotta Azzurra and the Pastizza. The only village on the island, mainly living on fishing and tourism, and the fine Bourbon tower are other major features of this enchanting place. |

Ustica is an oasis of peace and tranquillity, unspoilt by mass tourism, hence affording an extremely relaxing holiday amidst historical and naturalistic attractions. Diving is most recommended. The island boasts an important history; it was inhabited by the Phoenicians and the Romans, the latter calling it Ustum, meaning "burnt". Since 1986, it has been a marine protected reserve. |

A pochi passi del paese, al limite del bosco, Casa Terranova offre agli ospiti una visione panoramica della contrada Tramontana dell'Isola e del suo splendido mare. Ustica - Il piccolo centro abitato si stende ad anfiteatro intorno ad una baia che ospita il porto. Una strada e delle scalinate bordate di bellissimi ibiscus conducono al centro del paese, in alto. Una delle caratteristiche peculiari delle abitazioni è che da alcuni anni, i muri delle case sono stati "trasformati" in tele e gli artisti vi hanno dipinto paesaggi, trompe-l'oeil, ritratti, nature morte, soggetti fantastici. |

Il paese è dominato dalla Torre di S. Maria, sede del Museo Archeologico che ospita i reperti rinvenuti al villaggio preistorico presso i Faraglioni e nelle tombe di età ellenistico-romana di Capo Falconiera. In particolare si notino un singolare focolare circolare diviso in quattro parti (e quindi trasportabile), e belle coppe biansate a piede alto. |
