The vaulted cellar contains a bar with comfortable sofas and a collection of remnants -- some museum-quality -- unearthed from this site during long-ago excavations. Guest rooms are contemporary and comfortable, with color schemes of beige and champagne. In some of the suites, duplex setups include interior staircases of polished steel. The facilities offered by the hotel comprise rooms specially equipped for the disabled, meeting rooms, a small conference hall, a bar arranged in what was once the cistern, and a roof-garden restaurant that affords you magnificent view of the Grand Harbour and the sea front of Ortigia. The cuisine is typically Sicilian or internationally, which ever you prefer, but deliciously tasteful either way. There is also a private beach with shuttle service from the hotel. |
