This 18th century villa is situated in a wonderful location between the sea and Mt. Etna. Due to its mild climate and proximity to Taormina, it is a property which can be enjoyed at all times of year. There are several beaches nearby and the sea is still warm in spring and autumn, and in winter, it is possible to ski on Mt. Etna, just 45 minutes drive away. |

The house is surrounded by a mature garden with many quiet corners where you can sit and relax. From the terraces you can enjoy stunning views over the orchards of the estate and, in the distance the sea on one side and the smoking peak of Etna on the other. There is a large swimming pool to the front of the house, which is open from mid-May to mid-October, and shared with our other property Il Frantoio. There is a particularly beautiful vantage point to enjoy the views on a hillside overlooking the swimming pool. |

The interiors of the house also retain their original charm and are furnished with antiques and pieces of art. The accommodation is on two levels with most of the bedrooms on a lower level, where there is a large terrace. The living room has a fireplace, television and stereo, and also opens to a large furnished terrace. An annex, accommodating up to four people is available for larger parties at additional cost. Its proximity to Il Frantoio, means that renting both properties together is an ideal solution for two groups wanting to holiday near each other. |
