The building, today turned
into hotel, was an old mill that has undergone at
least two important reforms: in 1966 when it became
part of the Paradores hotel chain and in 1985; this
time being significantly remodeled but maintaining
intact the river bed and old presses. The Inn is
immersed in green an inviting ambience to enjoy the
living room with a chimney and panoramic window to
the garden. The rooms are rather normal, not can
much be said except for the natural light, the
disposition of the small writing-desk and the view
of the park.

Furniture style is quite varied: from Castilian
style to wicker tables and chairs... "Fabada" (rich
stew of beans, pork, etc.) is the most famous dish
of the dining room, although beans ("fabes") are
included in other preparations. The "caldereta de
marisco" (seafood stew), "chopa a la sidra" (fish
in cider), "pote asturiano" (vegetable and pork
broth) and "merluza con cocochas" (hake) also stand
out.
