The splendid Hotel Real was built in 1917 in the neo-French style of the great European palaces at the initiative of citizens of Santander. It was built in honor of King Alfonso XIII and to house His Majesty's court. The hotel recently underwent a complete renovation to restore it to its original grandeur. |
