"El Molí de la Plana" lies in the middle of gorgeous landscape, crossed by little streams, with a variation of mountainfields and deciduous woods,off the limits of the Natural Parc of the Volcanic Zone, 9km away from Olot, the capital of the district of La Garrotxa.All the houses have central heating, sanitary warm water and T.V. The neighhbourhood has the following houses:The Old Watermill, an old flour mill with a restored dwelling. It lies between the old waterbasin and the stream.The Eco-House, a modern building from the 80s designed to make use of passive solar energy. Attached to the house there is a greenhouse that shelters a swimming pool (heated in the winter).La Rovirota, an old cottage restored and divided into 4 apartments with independent entrances facing north, south, west and est respectively.The Hut, a small restored dwelling."El Molí de la Plana" is a lovely place to stay the whole year round, but the best periods are spring and autumn, when nature is magically beautiful and temperatures are at their pleasentest. |
