LOCATION: A small palace from the 19th century,
situated in a residential area and exclusively and
centrally located in the cultural business centre
of Madrid, Hotel Orfila serves as a role model for
a new concept of hotel service in the capital of
Spain.

This emblematic building
was constructed in 1886 as a family home for the
high bourgeois. In the 1920´s, due to the
strong literary and theatrical interest of the
family, a theatre was set up in the small palace of
Orfila 6, which brought fame to the theatre
throughout Madrid.
|
|
In the 1990´s, the Orfila was transformed
into a hotel that respected the stately air of the
last century in it´s decor, while providing
all the features of a luxury hotel in the end of
this century. SHOW MAPACCOMMODATION: The hotel has
28 rooms and 4 suites, facing either the street or
a private garden and very spacious, with
hydromassage and all different from one
another.

To archive a cozy and
luxury atmosphere, elements that could transmit the
client the feeling of being home have been looked
for. Details such as warm colours, English
wallpapers and fitted carpets, as well as the
highest quality cloths that together with the
furniture, mostly from the nineteenth century, get
to carry the client to a refined atmosphere that
makes him feel like the old sirs of that nineteenth
century mansion. Nevertheless, in the 1990´s
rebuilding, they did not forget to give the rooms
and lounges all kind of conforts and technological
advances, typical of the 21st century.
