At the end of the XV Century, the last reigning Arabic Sultan in Granada was Boabdil. A great lover of arts, he surrendered the Alhambra handing it over without war, so that no belligerent act would destroy this magnificent palace. His wish being achieved, the keys of Granada and his beloved Alhambra were handed over to the Catholic Kings.We wanted to give this room an Arabic atmosphere by splendid decoration according to the Moorish style. A silky canopy surrounds the twin beds, with walls that visualize the colourful Arabic tiles all complimenting the handmade Moroccan furniture. You can enjoy the romantic Arabic tower, which has a lovely view of the hotel terrace and swimming pool. |

In the days of the Middle Ages, piracy and horse-thief's were very common. To give this profession refuge at Amanhavis, it was necessary to find the treasures of his adventures. Large boots in front of the entrance give you a first impression of what is coming your way. In this Hideout, one can find, hidden by a rusty trap door, the treasure chests he amassed during his years of venturing the Coastline. Jewellery and gold coins, personal souvenirs… an adventure by itself. In the headboard of the twin beds you can read the names of the horses this lad had stolen: Luna, Rayo, Tornado, Lucero, etc. The rustic decoration of the room will take you back to the heroic days of the Horse-Thief. |

In the period of the 15th century, Spain under the reign of Ferdinand V and Isabel I of Castilla, reflected a Spanish Royalty, which was strongly devoted to Catholicism. The atmosphere of this room reflects the emblem of the reign of Castile and Aragon; its best quality tapestries, its wide double bed with canopy, its crowns and portraits sculpted in the furniture, will make you feel like real KINGS. This spacious room features many windows, which allows you to admire either the sierra, the remaining stone structure of the Moorish castle of Benahavís or the romantic setting of the hotel terrace. |
