The Hotel Leonardo (***)
is situated at 17 Via Tavoleria, in the historic
centre of Pisa betweeen the Arno embankments,
Piazza dei Cavalieri and the Leaning Tower. At one
time the residence of Duke Salviati and the
laboratory of the scientist Galileo Galilei, the
building has been newly renovated, and while the
exceptional characteristics of this historic
building have been maintanined, it has been made
more functional by the addition of modern comforts
such as a lift and en suite bedrooms with
