Die Landzunge "San Vigilio" ist sicher einer der bezauberste Orte am Gardasee. San Vigilio is the most enchanting place on Lake Garda; stretching out across the cool limpid water, forming a point that takes its name from a sainted monk who lived in the year 1200. Even in Roman times it was wellknown and inhabited. You enter through a lane of ancient cypress trees and you can admire all around the beautiful olive trees characteristic to this area. At the end of the lane you will find the beautiful sixteenth-century villa built from a design by Sanmicheli, surrounded by gardens and a park with orange and lemon groves which thrive due to the mild climate. Within the garden lies the small ancient church dedicated to San Vigilio. A small cobbled street takes you down to the small port, near which you will find the Bar Taverna that has lawns and gardens for visitors to enjoy. Breakfasts, lunches, dinners and other functions can be organized and reserved. "Locanda San Vigilio" overlooks the lake and is also situated near the port, it has received guests from the year 1500 and has 4 double rooms and 3 suites. From the lane of cypress trees you can enter the beautiful Parc "Baia delle Sirene".  San Vigilio è il luogo più incantevole del Lago di Garda; esso si protende nelle sue fresche e limpide acque formando una punta che prende il nome da un santo monaco qui vissuto prima dell' anno 1000. Ma già al tempo dei romani era conosciuto ed abitato. Vi si accede percorrendo un viale di cipressi secolari e tutt'intorno si possono ammirare gli ulivi caratteristici della zona. Al termine di questo viale si trova la bellissima villa cinquecentesca costruita su disegno dell' architetto Sanmicheli, ricca di giardini e di un parco con limonaie ed aranceti che il clima mite consente di coltivare. All' interno del giardino sorge l'antica chiesetta dedicata a San Vigilio. Percorrendo una stradicciola acciottolata si giunge al piccolo porto accanto al quale si trova il Bar Taverna, con prati e giardini a disposizione dei clienti che, su prenotazione, possono organizzare colazioni, pranzi, cene ed altro. Affacciata sull'acqua, sempre accanto al porticciolo, vi è la "Locanda San Vigilio", che fin dal cinquecento accoglie i visitatori disponendo di 4 camere doppie e 3 suites. Dal viale dei cipressi si può accedere al meraviglioso Parco "Baia delle Sirene".
