Milebrook House enjoys the
ultimate borderland location. Guests can stand in
Milebrook's attractive gardens and look across to
England, which begins just over the River Teme.
Rodney and Beryl Marsden have built up a faithful
following for their family-run hotel, based on its
informal atmosphere, high standards of comfort,
excellent food and unrivalled location. The house,
dating from the 18th century, stands in delightful
grounds with formal and herbaceous gardens and
croquet lawn leading down to riverside walks beside
the Teme. There's also a kitchen garden which
provides virtually all the vegetables for chef Lee
Jones's skilful cooking &endash; his imaginative
cuisine, complemented by an extensive wine list,
earns the restaurant recognition in leading food
guides. Countryside and wildlife enthusiast Rodney
will be happy to advise on birdwatching, walking
and exploring the surrounding hills of peaceful
border country.
