This charming traditional hotel
stands at the crossroads in Llanarmon Dyffryn
Ceiriog, a tranquil village in the beautiful Berwyn
Mountains. It has been welcoming travellers for
centuries. The original building is over 400 years
old, its downstairs rooms &endash; with their low
ceilings, cosy little corners, fireplaces and
flagstone floors &endash; retaining the old world
charm of a country inn. The bedrooms have been
tastefully refurbished to provide all modern
comforts, though in a style which is in keeping
with the character of this warm and friendly old
hostelry. Wooden beams prop up the walls and
support the ceilings, while brass bedsteads add to
the historic atmosphere. The cooking, under the
command of head Chef Grant Williams, is excellent
&endash; an eclectic range of ideas and influences,
making for interesting, tasty dishes &endash; with
the presentation to match.
